Rob K's Paleo Challenge

Postby RobK » Sat Oct 01, 2011 11:29 am

October the first. Two thousand and eleven.

Paleo... I'm only on day one. I wake up and there's bread. Helgas bread. Multigrain. Or the Nutri-Grain. Iron Man food. I don't know much about nutrition, but I know I need antioxidants. These seem more like oxidants. Every second I spend looking at this delicious unpaleolithic food I feel softer. Each time I imagine a ham and cheese croissant the walls move in tighter. I've got to get on track.

Breakfast: Shake made from two bananas, 30g WPC and 600ml milk. Handful of hazelnuts, sunflower seeds and pepita seeds.

October 4th

The fast was broken with a glass of milk, 250 grams of beef mince and 2 fried eggs

Lunch was a chicken breast with lettuce and sun dried tomato, and throughout the day I snacked on two carrots dipped in cashew spread, hazelnuts, cashews, sunflower and pepita seeds and a Go Natural fruitnut bar (ingredients: dates 71% macadamias 12% almonds 9% cocoa 8%)

Dinner is 250 grams of beef mince with a side of carrot, peas, broccoli, cauliflower and paleo bbq sauce and a post workout drink. Wait, three measures of milk, one of WPC, half a measure of glutamine. Shake it over ice and add a teaspoon of creatine.
