The guys at the CFE cert were also big fans of sweet potato (for wedges), as is Rob Wolf.
I never thought of wedges Rob, great idea.

As for meals during the day.

I take to work (now that im not working from home) cans of tuna, pre prepared salads, apples, jar of mixed nuts - natural - almonds, brazil, macadamia, cashews, walnuts as well as pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds.

Im sitting here as I write this at 5:21pm eating a salad, finishing it with a handful of nuts and a heap of water.

Over the weekend I am going to buy some nice mince, and make some patties (with almond meal and egg) and have that for brekky.

Good idea on the mince. See if you can get the butcher just to mince up some high quality steak. Sweet potato is the shit, but I've gone as strict paleo as I almost can and haven't had it for a while.

I'm still not sold on eating the skins of everything. :D

Making those mince patties sounds like a good idea for breakfast Dan, have to have a look in to that with maybe some hardboiled eggs. Still can't get the hang of eating salads though.
Do now what others don't,
So later on you will have what others won't.

Salads for Tom: baby spinach leaves; cherry tomato; celery or beans; kalamata olives; balsamic vinegar; olive oil. Not strict paleo or zone but delicious and filling without many carbs and a good smattering of fats. :D
