Vale,
Here you go, for lunch.....your clearly not trying hard enough....
You can buy a small esky for under $20, to keep things cold use some sort of ice brick.
The night before knock up a big chunky salad, actually make enough for a few days of work. Chunky I think is better, for feeling fuller, lots of chewing.
If you keep tomatoes out of the salad, ie cut them up onsite, you will save it getting soggy.
You can cook some chicken breast, some beef strips (like beef strog meat at the butchers) etc, and take some nice oil with you in a small container..
Make sure you add avocado and there you have an awesome salad. You can easily mix it up, there is so much you can chuck in a salad.
Other ideas is some lightly cooked veges, easy enough to eat cold, no big drama, meat, well there are a tonne of choices at the deli, or cook your own.
For smoko I would have a big chunk of meat, like a half chicken breast, a heap of nuts, maybe a cup full even because its physical work your doing, you need some serious fat for energy, and a piece of fruit or two, apple/pear/orange something decent.
You also catch a train to work, have you not seen anyone eating breakfast on the way to work on a train?
Use your imagination, was it not you that told me I have 80 yrs of working out ahead of me? You have 90 yrs - so stop making excuses and give it a try! Its 7 weeks!
