I have been meaning to say something but keep forgetting sorry. I think you eat to much fruit and not enough fat.
Sure there is fat in your leg ham for breakfast, and your lamb chops, but its nowhere near enough to count as fat, if your zoneing, its not enough, and for paleo its certainly not enough.

Your an athlete, fuelled with paleo foods, I think you need to start fuelling yourself properly with more fat. Fat is our primal energy source.

Other than that, how good is it you have been able to stick with all this for 7 damn pages of accountability!

Thanks for the feedback Dan.

I have actually been thinking about my food over the past few days and was definatly thinking that I am eating too much fruit and not enoegh protein or fat. I have noticed that gradually the amount of protein I have been eating is reducing in size. I think that I need to start and weigh again to make sure.

I really struggle with the protein in the mornings, especially after training. Sometimes I cant eat until atleast 45 mins later. Is this too late after workouts to be eating especially protein?
Should I maybe consider trying protein shakes to get the protein in the mornings especially after training?
Will this be a bad decision as my goal at the moment is to lose weight?

OK, I really need to look at my food again and change some things around, increase the protein amount and fat and reduce the fruit. It's very hard to get my head around eating fat as after many years of dieting, you always tried to eat food low in fat, but I guess that's why those diets never worked for me, whereas eating Paleo and doing Crossfit is working.

I am pretty happy with my progress over the past few weeks, I have had proberly two major slip ups which I am now admitting. This happened during a difficult time when I received some bad news, I ate the bad food (Chocolate) and was physically sick and felt horrible. In one way this was important for me to experience it as it showed me that eating "comfort" food wasn't going to make the situation any better and that focussing all that emotion into the WOD was so much a better way to get through it. Plus, it was a reminder of how easy it can be to slip back into my old ways and a constant reminder to myself that i never want to go back to how I was, so everyday I need to improve something to get me to my goals. I have learnt from my slip up and moved on but wanted to record it here so that I am accountable and honest, especially with myself.
