Congratulations Adrian, you'd set your mind on a goal and achieved it, despite a bunch of negatives coming in to play. Fitter / Faster next year ay mate?

Thanks Tom, it's been a rough couple of months training wise and I hope to get it a bit more sorted over the next few weeks. Will probably run in a 10km at Penrith Lakes and then do a few trail runs up in the mountains. Need to do some decent strength training as well. (as always)

For time

30 squat cleans 40kg
30 toes to bar
30 box jumps
30 games push ups
30 dumbell push jerk 10kg DB's
30 double unders
30 thrusters 40kg
30 pull ups
30 burpees
30 steps overhead lunge 20kg (did not attempt)

DNF 35min

First CF WOD in about 14 weeks I think and first strength session in probably 8... Heart rate was mostly ok, muscle fatigue/weakness (i.e I have NO strength) hit very early. Can't remember too many DNF's and I was the tail ender today. Tough.

Will be re-doing my training plan and working out goals etc this week.

It's now sunday and I still have quite severe DOMS in my triceps, less so in my legs but still some. Ouch. So yea - probably too much work for me.

1.5km Swim

Approx. 30mins

The swimming muscles need a bit of adaptation again, got pretty lactic after about 200m. Had plenty of breaks and took it fairly easy. I find it hard not too when I'm in the water! Hope to make swimming a bit of a recovery/cross training work out over the next few months - possibly leading into a triathlon type scenario.
