The first thing that comes to mind then is your not eating to satiety. You really shouldnt have these problems. One of the best things about paleo is your not restricting yourself food wise.
I would also point out that until your 100% paleo your going to have issues like this. Bread in your diet spikes insulin making you hungry later. Dairy the same. You have not trained your body to use fat as fuel yet and will experience carb cravings until you do.

Post your log for me to see from the weekend. Probably not enough fat. Its all about the fat.

Hi Gill,

For me personally I feel super hungry when I eat fruit as snacks during the day. That may increase your feeling of satiety. Word is for weight loss fruit isn't the best. You might want to try eating the majority of your carbs post wod as well, this has been talked about as well.

I know exactly what you mean when you say that during the week you are fine but on the weekends it becomes a bit of a free-for-all, as I am exactly the same.

It takes patience to find what works for you, keep sticking it out!

Did you have anything else with your sweet potato or just that for dinner at 5? That might be a clue, not enough protein.

The sweet potato was actually just to have before training. I was told to have some carb and protein before training to get me throught the WOD. I actually forgot to post what I had for dinner which was mince with crushed tomatoes and carrot wrapped in lavaish bread

Rob has been looking over my food diary and this latest entry appeared to be the best out of them all with 95% of it being good.
What do you think Dan?

The last one is pretty much perfect with the exception of the bread roll. My question to you is, your having a crappy little bread roll, your hollowing it out, do you really even need it?

I just prefer to have a sandwhich or a roll at lunchtime, I just find salad boring and not really filing thats all.

Question I jumped on the scales today after adding some avocado and nuts and stuff like that into my eating, I've put on like 700g! I'm just gonna avoid the avocado and the nuts for now, it just doesn't seem to be working for me....

Serious?
Clearly a diet that has served our species for millions of years wont work for you. I forgot to tell you paleo wont work for people called Gill.

Your training in Crossfit, lifting more weight than a lot of guys, how do you think that works, your mind?

Come on Gill, dont ask a question, then draw your own conclusion, then go and do what you think is causing whatever you think is going on.

Go and get a proper bodyweight fat percentage test, one where they can determine a correct muscle and fat kilo amount, post results here, and in the meantime can you please give this a try for more than 1 day please?

Ditch the bread if anything is going to make you put on weight, its that..........
