I am very excited to announce that as of 2 February 2011, I will be running Pilates classes for a 10 week term at Crossfit Norwest Gym, Wednesday's at 9.30am. Term 1 runs from 2 February - 6 April inclusive.
I teach Menezes Method (TM) which is a unique and dynamic exercise system, created by Allan Menezes, Director of Pilates Institute of Australasia that helps you develop inner strength, a more shapely body, better posture, flexibility, balance and control.
It is extremely effective in balancing muscles by stretching and strengthening them to produce:
stronger deeper core muscles; leaner longer muscles;
reduction in back pain and stress levels; Increased stamina.
By strengthening your core, you will stand taller, have fewer back problems, a flatter tummy & leaner waist.
I am trained and qualified to teach various levels, including Floor Level 1, Level 2 (Level 3 Assessment pending), Ball Level 1 and Pregnancy.
For those of you who are interested in the class, however, are unable to make Wednesday mornings, I also run 2 classes on a Monday evening at Baulkham Hills during the school terms. 1st class at 7pm for all levels and a 2nd class at 8.15pm for Intermediate/Advanced only. 1st Term runs from Mon 31 January - 4 April inclusive. This means you will still be able to get your Monday afternoon/evening Crossfit session in AND a Pilates class!!
You do not need any fancy equipment or attire!!! - just an exercise mat and 2 towels.
Bookings are essential, class numbers are strictly limited. Private sessions also available by appointment only.
Cost: $150 for Term 1 (10 weeks)
