RAW STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING OFFERS TRAINING AND ONLINE PROGRAMMING FOR CROSSFIT AND STRENGTH AND POWER ATHLETES
The 2012 Reebok CrossFit Open commences this week, thousands of people from all over the globe performing weekly workouts in the hopes of qualifying for the Regionals, and potentially the Games. The RAW program for our CrossFit athletes will change slightly to reflect this beginning phase of competition, providing you with time to complete the Open WODs over the next few weeks (without it taking over your life and training) and more importantly to hit your peak at the Regionals. Good Luck Everyone!
One of our correspondence athletes Marcus Smith from Dubai offers the following on his RAW experience. Big cheers for the wrap up Marcus!!! Check out his website Inner Fight.

At CrossFit Norwest we are constantly striving to improve the turnover phase of our snatches and cleans, this action is an integral part of these tricky lifts. A lot more attention tends to be paid to the third pull/turnover of the snatch rather than the clean. Why?? Likely because in the snatch the consequences of poor execution tend to be more dramatic and noticeable, however the turnover in the clean also deserves some attention! The difference between making a heavy clean and getting a 1RM, failing a lift or gassing muscles at a Sydney CrossFit games day comes down to timing and precision.
